HEWLETT-PACKARD HAS MS OS/2 AVAILABLE FOR THE ES AND RS IN APRIL

Hewlett-Packard Co will have MS OS/2 available for the ES and RS models of its Vectra family of personal computers in April: it will also start shipping the 16MHz 80386 RS/16 and 20MHz RS/20 this month; OS/2 1.0 version A is $325, and a version B that also supports the original 80286-based Vectra PC will follow in the second half of 1988 at a price still to be decided; OS/2 1.1 with Presentation Manager will be available in about a year.
