HEWLETT-PACKARD CUTS PRICES

And Hewlett-Packard says that UK cuts in the price of the Vectra personal computers range from 7% and 15%: the basic Model 25 and Model 45 remain the same at UKP2,355; the popular Model 50 with 640K RAM, 1.2Mb floppy disk and 20Mb Winchester is down to UKP2,600 from UKP3,078; the Model 60 with 40Mb hard disk is down to UKP3,417 from UKP3,705; the Model 58 Vectra 3000 with monochrome screen and link to the HP3000 computer is down to UKP3,203 from UKP3,643 and the Model 59 – the same model but with enhanced graphics display has come down to UKP3,805 from UKP4,214 and the Vectra Publisher personal computer with Pagemaker software and Microsoft’s Windows is reduced to UKP4,706 from UKP4,358.
