Whilst the partnership allows Rolfe & Nolan to act as a reseller for HelioGraph technology in a number of key global markets, including the U.S. and Europe; it also involves the interfacing of HelioGraph technology with Rolfe & Nolan’s. As a result of the agreement, functionality from HelioGraph’s Helio MessageBroker, a messaging component that interfaces with applications requiring message preparation/repair, message translation and message brokering, will enable Rolfe & Nolan’s back office systems to offer enhanced and more effective financial messaging support capabilities, such as S.W.I.F.T. and FiX.

The partnership agreement is in line with Rolfe & Nolan’s stated aim of moving towards a more component-geared strategy for their products. As a leader in component-based technology for the financial sector, HelioGraph was a natural choice. By selecting HelioGraph components, Rolfe & Nolan has been able to deliver this enhanced functionality in an extremely cost-effective manner but also in a far shorter timeframe than would have been possible by in-house development. This was of particular importance as discussions are already underway with a number of key global clients who have an interest in the new offering.

HelioGraph’s agreement with Rolfe & Nolan will further extend Rolfe & Nolan’s capabilities to deliver Straight Through Processing. Gary Mercer, Consultancy Director of HelioGraph, comments: Sophisticated back office products such as RANsys require interfaces that can handle the peculiar complexities of financial messaging, in particular of the S.W.I.F.T. network. Financial institutions today are constantly looking to extend their Straight Through Processing capabilities. This strategic relationship will help Rolfe & Nolan achieve this.

Geoff Maskell, Sales & Marketing Director of Rolfe & Nolan, adds: We needed to provide both our existing clients and new customers with better financial messaging functionality, and in particular, that of S.W.I.F.T. HelioGraph is able to provide us with a superior product that allows us to complete another part of our Straight Through Processing initiative.
