As part of the relationship, Weatherbee Resources will work with HealthWyse engineers to integrate its clinical and financial reporting system with the latter’s hospice software.
As the HealthWyse solution is already implemented in hospice programs around the country, Weatherbee’s services – including pre- and post-implementation assessment, baseline compliance audits, and other related consultation – will be offered to enhance the success of the transition to an electronic medical record.
According to the companies the integrated package will be accessible through PDAs, laptops and tablet PCs. It will comply with HIPAA disaster recovery requirements and the billing software will support ebilling to Medicare and other 3rd party payors.
