HealthPort Signs RAC Software Deal With Resurrection

Solution to allow hospitals to have optimal access to records and activity reports during the RAC process

By CBR Staff Writer

Resurrection Health Care of Chicago has signed an agreement to implement HealthPort’s RACPro Basic software. A solution for the Recovery Audit Contractor (RAC) initiative, RACPro Basic enables hospitals to store and view records and status of RAC requests.

The benefits of HealthPort’s RACPro Basic include automation and organization, which allow hospitals to have optimal access to records and activity reports during the RAC process, said the company.

Dale Speer, HealthPort Regional Director of Hospital Sales, said: “In addition to the full-service access to records and status documentation, through the seamless integration of the ROI and RACPro Basic systems, Resurrection chose HealthPort based on their long-term relationship with our operations management team and the comfort of knowing that we would deliver an exceptional product and support.”
