Healthline Networks’ eyes search engine improvements

Healthline Networks recently launched a new website, named, through which it aims to guide those in quest of specific medical information to the most appropriate sources.

Owned by health information providers Healthline Networks, the website is to serve as a medical search engine. According to the New York Times, the site is designed to provide more direct access to ailment- and remedy-related information from the 66,000 websites it has identified as offering insightful medical content.

The website, claimed to direct users to medical information sites containing a minimal amount of commercial substance, is said to make it easier for internet users to find information that is not obscured by commercial interest.
