Oz implemented an automated workflow system using IBM ‘Content Management’

software, IBM ‘Lotus Notes’ and StreamServe EDP for the digital creation, assembly and presentment of documents.

The firm says this resulted in annual savings of $100,000 in reduced printing, distribution and storage costs; processing 100% of claims within the required timeframe; producing documents for service providers and internal staff in minutes, simplifying regulatory compliance, and communicating more effectively by personalizing customer communications.

By enabling OZ to optimize their enterprise content management and leverage information as a strategic asset, IBM and StreamServe have helped OZ transform their business processes away from paper to an all-digital workflow process, allowing customers to conduct much of their business with OZ online, said Jon Prial, vice president, IBM Content Management and Discovery.

In addition to the OZ implementation, IBM and StreamServe are working together on joint projects in a variety of industries, including financial services and retail.
