According to the agreement, Health Future will use an online custom catalog that will streamline operations and increase purchasing efficiencies in its multi-hospital system, which includes facilities in Oregon, southern Washington and northern California.
The agreement is also expected to enable the company to maintain regional and local contracts that offer cost savings, and the opportunity to exploit national MedAssets contracts.
In addition, Health Future will access MedAssets’ Strategic Information tool, which is designed to allow users to aggregate, analyze and act upon their procurement data to maximize savings opportunities.
