Headland Group Plc has confirmed reports that it is negotiating to sell its software subsidiary, Mega Ltd (CI No 1,471): it acknowledges that the costs of developing Miracle software for DEC computers has been substantial, and it expects to report a significant loss for the first half of 1990; consequently, Headland is looking to refinance its operations via an unidentified third party, and it will also have to make material adverse adjust ments to previously announced re sults for 1989; the audited results will be published after refinancing negotiations have been completed.
