According to Wipro Technologies, the engagement is expected to help HCSC gain better control and visibility on spend and drive efficiencies through the sourcing and procurement organizations after implementation of the Ariba spend management suite of applications.
Wipro leveraged its proprietary supply chain transformation and implementation model for this initiative that could pave the way for the next version of global delivery in the supply chain management space.
Wipro’s supply chain transformation and implementation model allows system configuration, customization and retrofitting to be done remotely, which may result in approximately 30% reduction in cost. This model is expected to provide approximately 40% overhead reduction, resulting in a higher ROI from their enterprise application initiatives.
