HCL Technologies, a provider of IT Services, has entered into a multi-year partnership agreement with Lojas Renner, the second largest fashion retailer in Brazil.
Under the partnership, HCL will be responsible for supporting Oracle systems deployed in more than 130 stores of Lojas Renner across Brazil.
HCL has been working with Lojas Renner for more than a year and has been engaged in strategic consulting programmes aimed at optimising the performance of Oracle Retail and E-business environments at Renner.
In addition, HCL has also partnered with Lojas Renner on developing a number of applications that support store operations and reporting for Lojas Renner.
HCL Brazil general manager Ideval Munhoz said they were pleased to be awarded this contract by Lojas Renner, as this is reflective of their ability to bring value to progressive retailers like Lojas Renner leveraging their global and local teams.
"With this latest win with Lojas Renner, we are committed to support Lojas Renner in their strong growth plans in Brazil," Munhoz said.
The company said that it will provide services from its Global delivery centre in Sao Leopoldo which is located close to Renner’s headquarters in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul.
