HCL Infosystems appoints new CEO

New CEO Harsh Chitale replaces Ajai Chowdhry

HCL Infosystems, a provider of hardware, services and ICT systems integration offerings, has appointed Harsh Chitale as CEO.

Harsh Chitale brings with him considerable experience in the areas of senior business management, system integration and lifecycle services buniesses, and succeeds Ajai Chowdhry, the company’s CEO, who will continue to be the chairman with HCL Infosystems.

Before joining HCL Infosystems, Chitale led the business of Honeywell Process Solutions for the North and South America region.

Prior to this, he was responsible for Strategy and Global Marketing for Honeywell Process Solutions, and played key role in driving three strategic acquisitions of Honeywell Process Solutions in Europe and Canada.

HCL Infosystems chairman Ajai Chowdhry said that as the company continues to invest in India and emerging markets, Harsh will focus on enhancing the company presence, strengthening our System Integration and Services offering and capacity building.
