HAS IBM UK ANNOUNCED ITS VERSION OF THE STRATUS XA2000?

By CBR Staff Writer

Although there has been no word from the US about it, it seems that IBM UK has announced its version of the new Stratus XA2000 fault-tolerant machine, but the company’s perverse decision to relocate its public relations department in Portsmouth when about 90% of the media it serves are in London, tends to mean that its announcements take a week or more to reach us, and the System 88 information still hadn’t arrived by close of play yesterday.
