HARRIS DATA SERVICES LANDS SW-SUPPORT CONTRACT FOR US AIR FORCE

Alexandria, Virginia-based Harris Data Services Corp, subsidiary of Harris Corp, has landed a $12m software-support contract for the US Air Force which could lead to $100m worth of orders over the next five years: Harris will provide on-sit software support at the Gunter Air Force base in Alabama and other locations worldwide, and as part of the project will establish a software development site at Gunter.
