HARRIS AGREES TO PAY $4M+ IN RESTITUTION, FINES AND PENALTIES

We are pleading guilty because we are guilty, says Harris Corp with refreshing candour: its sin was to overcharge Uncle Sam on some contracts for satellite antenna equipment, and this week it agreed in court in Orlando, Florida to pay over $4m in restitution, fines and penalties – which means it is now free to bid on future US contracts.
