Kelly Brook is the most dangerous celebrity on the internet

Supermodel Kelly Brook is the most dangerous celebrity to search for online, according to new research from Intel Security.

Brook is a new entry onto the list this year, but beats the likes of Katie Price who is in second, and new X-Factor judges Nick Grimshaw and Rita Ora in third and fourth respectively. Victoria Beckham makes up the top 5.

Intel Security is raising a serious point with this seemingly lighthearted list though. Cyber criminals exploit the popularity of celebrities to guide victims to sites containing malware. "HD downloads" is the search term most laden with viruses.

"The desire for consumers to have access to the latest celebrity gossip can often make them vulnerable to cybercrime," said Nick Viney, vice president consumer, mobile and small business, Intel Security

Intel Security says that those looking to download music and video are the most at risk. The firm urges users to beware of using third party links and unknown sites, virus protection tools to search, and to be particularly careful when searching to download content.
