Three years ago, Barracuda, a leading provider of cloud-enabled security solutions, created the world’s first MSP Day, a movement designed to build an interactive, connected, and collaborative community of IT managed service providers. The founding purpose of MSP Day was to recognise and celebrate the emerging MSP sector, providing MSPs, vendors and end-user customers with an opportunity to come together and share successes, best practices, and key industry insights.
Now, as we find ourselves looking towards the post-pandemic future, coming together as a community is more vital than ever before to help each other rebuild. The opportunity is there to underline to MSP partners globally that we, as a community, are wholeheartedly supporting them, and in turn, their customers, to create a sense of togetherness as we all move forward to face the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. This year we will again be taking the initiative to all corners of the world and going global virtually on 26 May, 2021.
“Following on from the success of the global event last year, we’re coming back bigger and better than ever for 2021,” says Brian Babineau SVP & GM, Barracuda MSP. “MSPs from around the globe will be joining us to celebrate the extraordinary efforts of MSPs who played a critical role in supporting clients through economic uncertainty and a season of unparalleled cyberattacks.”
What can you expect from MSP Day 2021?
A cornerstone of Global MSP Day is ‘The Evolving Landscape of the MSP Business’ report, a state-of-the-nation study into the key factors relating to the managed services sector across EMEA in 2018/19 and then globally in 2020. The research examined a range of issues, from the composition of service offerings to the commercial drivers that are accelerating MSP adoption. The 2020 findings revealed a flourishing market exhibiting strong growth, momentum, and a rise in demand for security-centric MSP offerings.
Above all, the findings celebrated the difference that managed services are making to global businesses on a daily basis and shone a light on the specific areas MSPs can work on to further enhance the experience and commercial benefits for all concerned.
This year we will revisit the progress that has been made over the past three years and gain further insights globally to make the 2021 report more comprehensive and insightful than ever. We will continue building on the themes from last year, as well as focusing on emerging challenges and opportunities for the new decade.
