BizFlow BAM uses a wizard-driven dashboard display to track business events in real-time. The software extracts and analyzes BizFlow processes to provide an analytic lens into their everyday operations by tracking and monitoring the performance of key business indicators on a continuous basis.
BAM displays can be broken down according to process models or user group hierarchies.The module is an integrated part of HandySoft’s flagship BizTalk BPM Suite that manages and monitors rules-based processes. Event-based monitoring and analysis (BAM) is still a nascent technology market, but one that is expected to flourish as companies strive for real-time insights into their business operations.
The technology is deemed to be suitable for a variety of applications including loan origination, inventory management and sales order tracking. Research firm Gartner predicts that by 2012 average BAM latency requirements will decrease to less than a minute.
