The two companies will collaborate to endorse new products developed by Halliburton that will benefit from Intel’s computing technology. Halliburton hopes to demonstrate that its real time operations, knowledge management and e-business applications are able to deliver maximum customer satisfaction when the network and computer architecture on which they operate is working at peak performance.
In today’s market place, speed and efficiency throughout the supply chain are key elements in applying solutions that maximize the value of our customers’ assets, said John Horgan, vice president of Business Development at Halliburton’s Energy Services Group. This collaborative effort with Intel will help us ensure that we are taking full advantage of Intel’s advanced computing architecture.
The partnership will also aim to enable Halliburton to develop new technologies that exploit Intel-based software in sectors such as wide-area networks and mobile computing devices, in an effort to compress workflow cycle times and enhance service quality for the oil and gas industry.
