The contract award for Exinda is part of the Malaysian government’s bandwidth management project that involves deploying Exinda wide area network optimization appliances at more than 700 networked government sites over the next two years. Government Integrated Telecom Network (GITN) is pursuing the bandwidth management project to provide quick, efficient and reliable services to its citizens.

Exinda Networks’ wide area network (WAN) optimization appliances will ensure that network applications are responding quickly to end user requests. The appliances classify, prioritize and compress network traffic while controlling non-essential traffic such as recreational Web applications. WAN optimization will help GITN reduce network operating costs by maximizing its network investment.
