GTI COMPLETES DIVESTITURE OF PROMPTUS

GTI says it has completed the pre-announced (CI No 3,085) divestiture of its 71% stake in Promptus Communications Inc. On April 28, Promptus completed the sale of its Network Access Card assests to VideoServer Inc (CI No 3,129). Concurrent with that transaction, Promptus repurchased 100% of GTI’s interest in the company for approximately $8.2m in cash and 157,795 shares of VideoServer common stock.
