GTE Corp won’t confirm it, but it has reportedly chosen Dallas, Texas as the headquarters for its telephone operations, source for the news being Texas property firms: GTE plans to move 300 employees from its corporate headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut to the new phone operations headquarters.
