Mission-critical systems scaling company Grid Dynamics has introduced DevOps Catalyst, an integrated product and services offering to address the need of modern enterprises to release code to production in a fast, repeatable and reliable manner.
DevOps Catalyst is a combination of Grid Dynamics services and tools that help enterprises establish collaborative release management portal; artifact tracking and versioning; automated application deployment and utilising private and public cloud providers.
In collaborative release management portal, the developers, Quality Assurance (QA), configuration managers and operations working together to assemble a release and the artifact tracking and versioning assigns a version tag to each component of a release starting from the development and all the way into production.
The automated application deployment increases the repeatability for application deployment even across heterogeneous environments; environment policy management manages environment definitions and policies in a centralised fashion, separate from the application configuration; and utilising private and public cloud providers.
Grid Dynamics Cloud Services director Stan Klimoff said with DevOps each practice is designed to help enterprises become more agile.
