The ban, which was decided in February, includes innocuous video games, after the Greek government claimed that it could not distinguish them from illegal gambling machines. Offenders face fines of between E5,000-75,000 and imprisonment of 1-12 months.
The Greek gaming communities are backing a test case in an effort to overthrow the law, which is due in court next week.
