The Getronics Services arm of Getronics NV and Granada Computer Services International Ltd are seeking to extend their reach across Europe by forming a partnership that will enable either to act as a one-stop shop for multinationals with equipment from several vendors and operations in many European countries. The deal is for five years and comprises technical and operational co-operation in designated geographical areas, Getronics said. Getronics claims 35% market share in multi-vendor maintenance and management of computers and networks in the Benelux countries and strong positions in Scandinavia and Spain. Granada Computer Services has a strong presence in the UK, France, Germany, Italy and Switzerland. The two are also working to expand co-operation to joint marketing, product development and training, Getronics said.
