Granada Compass and Granada Media Suspension of Listings

COMPANY PRESS RELEASE: Further to the circulars posted to shareholders on 18 December 2000 and in connection with the demerger of Compass Group PLC from Granada Compass and the consolidation of the listings of Granada Compass and Granada Media, Granada Compass and Granada Media announce that their shares will be suspended from the Official List of the London Stock Exchange.

tHIS SUSPENSION WILL TAKE PLACE from 7.00 a.m., Wednesday 31 January 2001 and not from 8.00 a.m., Wednesday 31 January 2001 as previously published in the indicative timetables.

It is expected, subject to the approval of the Court, that dealings will resume and commence in Granada Compass (which will be renamed Granada plc following completion of the demerger) and Compass Group PLC on 8.00 a.m., Friday 2 February 2001.
