Wokingham, Berkshire based Gothic Crellon Ltd has entered into an Applications Specific Integrated Circuits franchise agreement with Plessey Semiconductors, under which Gothic will design ASICs across the whole range of Plessey and recently-acquired Ferranti Electronics products for fabrication by Plessey; Gothic has designed numerous ASICs for a variety of markets in the last year and Plessey is hoping that it will benefit from its partner’s customer base.
