It is the third application of Google’s online office suite called Google Docs.

Our View

Google Presentations does compete with PowerPoint, but because Microsoft doesn’t yet have an online version of PowerPoint perhaps the real competitive threat of Presentations is to online collaboration suits, such as Cisco’s WebEx.

However, Google lacks the enterprise reputation of either Microsoft or WebEx. Presentations isn’t likely to uproot either of these competitors in this market any time soon, but it certainly is making a decent debut.
