A Google Street View car has collided with two public buses and a truck in Indonesia.

Police in Bogor said the driver hit the first bus, before appearing to panic when the bus driver responded angrily, and tried to drive off.

However, in doing so, the Street View car hit a second bus then the truck, according to local media.

It is understood no-one was seriously injured in the crashes, while Google has confirmed an incident occurred.

Vishnu Mahmud, head of communications for Google in Indonesia, told news agency AFP: "We take incidents like this very seriously. We’re working closely with local authorities to address the situation."

Pictures posted to an Indonesian forum show people crowding around the car after the collisions, with the car sporting several dents, a broken windscreen and a damaged front bumper.

Google Street View cars are mapping out Indonesia’s islands as part of a project with its Ministry of Tourism.
