Google introduces Chrome for Android

Features sign-in and sync to enable personalised web browsing experience

By CBR Staff Writer

Google has introduced Chrome for phones and tablets with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Chrome for Android Beta will focus on speed and simplicity.

It features sign-in and sync to enable personalised web browsing experience with users wherever they go, across devices, said Google.

With Chrome for Android, users can search, navigate and browse and can scroll through web pages quickly.

Users can flip or swipe between an unlimited number of tabs using intuitive gestures.

After signing in to Chrome on one’s Android device, users can access the tabs they left open on the computer, picking up exactly where they left off.

In addition, users will get an autocomplete suggestion for the sites visited often on the mobile device, reducing the time spent in typing and they can also access their favourite sites no matter where they are or which device they are using.
