A patent filed by Google has revealed details of hardware and feature updates for Google Glass.

The new details reveal a thinner design, which is expected to wrap around the users brow, along with a crystal that will project the results the wearer seeks.

Google will replace a Texas Instrument chip with a faster Intel chip, which is expected to cater to a wider range of audience.

Another major change includes the location of the display/camera unit which has been moved to the left side from the right, reported Ubergizmo.

In April, Google offered the prototype of the Glass to enthusiasts and announced that it will tweak the hardware and software based on the feedback it gathered from the developers.
