Google is preparing its stable version of Chrome browser to suit its popular smartphone and tablet platform, Android after completing its beta testing stage in few weeks.
Google senior vice president Chrome and Apps, Sundar Pichai was reported by CNET News as saying in an interview that the company launched beta 2 and addressed a few things.
"Mainly right now, I’m driven by bug quality and stability. We are triaging, tracking, and trying to make it very stable. It is in a matter of weeks," Pichai said.
Google first brought the Chrome for Android back in February and the browser was successful though running on tablets with Android 4.0 or Ice Cream Sandwich.
Lastweek, tab syncing support has been added which allows users to request offline versions of websites, and home screen bookmarks including Download support.
A desktop mode was also included to access the mobile and desktop versions of websites.
