Dell has expanded the Chromebook laptop lineup with a Chromebook 13.

It has an entry level US price fo $399. Features include Intel Celeron, Core i3 and i5 processors with up to 8GB of system memory and a promised 12 hour battery life.

Kirk Schell, GM commercial solutions at Dell said: ""Not only does the solution offer customers a superior mobile working experience, but with the availability of Dell’s leading security, management and ProSupport Plus service, it is also easy to integrate into wider device ecosystems."

Customers such as Netflix, Sanmina and Starbucks have already adopted Chromebooks.

Google is also announcing support for Pulse Secure and Dell SonicWall virtual private networks, VMware, Dell, or Citrix. Chromebooks for Work can also connect to Box, Dropbox, or Microsoft OneDrive.
