SafeTrace Tx is a transfusion management software which provides tracking of orders, specimens, blood products, derivatives, and accessories with a complete testing and transfusion history in one consolidated record.

These features will assist Good Samaritan’s technologists in selecting appropriate blood products for their patients and help to reduce waste and increase efficiency, according to Global Med.

Scott Dustin, vice president of sales and marketing for Global Med Technologies, said: The inventory features in SafeTrace Tx will allow Good Samaritan to utilize computer systems to help reduce errors in the lab as well as accurately track blood distribution throughout their facility.
