GoldLeaf said it identified an attempt to redirect its clients’ customers to a phishing website to entice them to enter personal financial information. The company temporarily suspended internet access to its website services as a result.

Specific details of the attack on its systems were not disclosed.

Lynn Boggs, CEO at Goldleaf said: We have identified and corrected the problem. We have fully restored our website, remote deposit and ACH services. In addition to contacting our customers, we have communicated with our vendor partners, regulators and law enforcement authorities. We are fully operational and will remain diligent in our security efforts.
