Operating income totaled $2 million for the third quarter of 2008, compared to $0.5 million for the third quarter of 2007. Net income available to common stockholders totaled $0.7 million, or $0.04 per share, in the third quarter of 2008, versus $0.1 million, or $0.01 per share, in the third quarter of 2007.
Revenue for the nine months of 2008 totaled $61.9 million, compared to $42.1 million for the same period of 2007. Operating income totaled $3.1 million for the first nine months of 2008, compared to $0.3 million for the first nine months of 2007.
Net income available to common stockholders totaled $0.5 million, or $0.03 per share, for the first nine months of 2008, versus a net loss available to common stockholders of $0.2 million, or $0.01 per share, for the prior-year period.
Lynn Boggs, CEO of Goldleaf, said: I am very excited about our results. During the first nine months of 2008, Goldleaf has generated in excess of $11.5 million of operating cash flow. In the third quarter, we generated over $5.4 million of operating cash flow, and used $3.5 million to pay down bank debt, leaving us with over $3.7 million of cash on hand.
