German investment company Gold-Zack AG has taken a 17.5% stake in systems integrator Prodacta Systemhaus GmbH, from Ettlingen, in order to take it to flotation next year. Gold-Zack has already carried out other IPOs in the IT sector this year, including that of e-business and e-commerce software house DataDesign AG, from Munich, on the Neuer Markt in November (CI No 3,531). As with that flotation, the Wiesbaden-based IT company Plenum AG, which was also led to the Neuer Markt by Gold-Zack, is expected to buy into Prodacta prior to the IPO, selling part of its stake at flotation time but maintaining some shares. Plenum plans to buy some 10% of the company, according to a spokesperson for Mettmann-based Gold-Zack, who declined to reveal the amounts paid for the Prodacta shares. Prodacta expects to achieve revenues of DM28m ($16.7m) this year.
