GOLD STAR FORMS JOINT VENTURE WITH SRI THAI SUPERWARE

Gold Star Telecommunications has formed a joint venture with Sri Thai Superware Co of Thailand to manufacture telecommunications equipment in the kingdom: the $4m Sri Thai GST Ltd will be 60% owned by Gold Star and will manufacture single line and cordless telephones, and PABXs, and looks for $12m sales in the first year selling to South-East Asian countries – and the European market.
