The DoCoMo 3G launch, the world’s first, is now just days away. Gent believes that the company would be wise to hold off any release until the final aspects of the standard have been ironed out by any participating members.
Speaking to the Financial Times, Gent commented, three cheers for DoCoMo if they manage to get the service open next month … [But] I think it’s unlikely to be a full commercial service.
