This item may sound like a load of old cobblers, but a high flying member of the Computer Systems News editorial team and former resident of Westchester County, New York assures us that when the jocks in IBM’s National Accounts Division used to turn out for a game of softball – that’s baseball without the pain, or as we would call it, rounders – the IBM secretaries really did used to cheer them on with cries of Go NADs!
