For certification, iMotion was tested for accepting commands from Auto-ID Infrastructure and orchestrating RFID devices across various business processes. Data from a broad variety of RFID devices was collected and normalized by the iMotion platform then presented back to Auto-ID Infrastructure via Application Level Events, an EPCglobal software standard.
Additional test scenarios included encoding and printing tacking tags, the integration of motion sensors, and sending information captured by barcode scanners back to the Auto-ID infrastructure.
