GLOBAL AGREEMENT TO ABOLISH COMPUTER TARIFFS ON TRACK

The technical work to complete the global Information Technology Agreement to abolish all tariffs on computer equipment is on track, US Trade Representative Charlene Barshefsky said yesterday. She said it will be finished in time for a meeting of the participating countries set for Geneva on March 26.
