The joint solution is said to provide an integrated risk management framework that can adapt to multiple IT infrastructures, helping companies achieve compliance with key regulatory requirements such as Sarbanes Oxley.

The companies said the offering integrates compliance and business process management (BPM), bringing customers a better way to gain enterprise-wide compliance and control.

Global 360 launched its Active Compliance Framework in July, as part of its Enterprise BPM suite. The company said the active compliance framework will assist companies in meeting the requirements of a variety of new laws, including Sarbanes-Oxley and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, HIPAA. The framework can be used to build processes that comply with existing or future legislation.

Global 360 – formerly eiStream – says it has over 20 years of process management experience and has 2,000 customers in 134 countries. It is headquartered in Texas with operations in North America, Europe, and the Pacific Rim. Meanwhile BWise is headquartered in the Netherlands, with its US base in New York. Founded in 1994, customers include AEGON, VNU/AC Nielsen, TNT, TDFG Bank of Canada and ABN AMRO Bouwfonds.
