Global Imaging Systems acquires United Business Solutions

Furthers Global Imaging's strategy of creating a nationwide network

By CBR Staff Writer

Global Imaging Systems, A Xerox Company, has acquired the assets of United Business Solutions of Addison, Illinois.

The acquisition is expected to furthers Global Imaging’s strategy of creating a nationwide network of locally-based providers focused on improving document workflow and office efficiency for small and mid-size businesses.

Earlier this year, Global Imaging Systems acquired the assets of Florida Imaging & Network Systems, headquartered in Pensacola, Florida.

United, founded in 1982, will be integrated into Global Imaging’s Chicago Office Technology Group (COTG), and will immediately begin offering Xerox’s full range of office printing products.

Global Imaging Systems president of Chicago Office Technology Group Terry Dixon said with this acquisition, United’s customers gain access to Xerox technology to help them focus their time and resources on their core business.
