Cascade designs and installs software systems which enable operators of membership based leisure facilities, such as health clubs, to generate important management information based on the analysis of raw data produced by a facility’s IT systems. For example, using the analysis tool, Cascade Reports, management are able to monitor usage patterns accurately and thereby increase the effectiveness of marketing efforts, leading to increased efficiencies and customer retention. Cascade also provides on-going consultancy and support.
The products and services offered by Cascade complement those of Microcache Ltd., a supplier of smart card based membership systems to the leisure industry, which became part of the Gladstone Group in September.
The acquisition of Cascade brings with it a team of consultants with in-depth experience of the leisure industry and a customer base of 47 sites which brings the total number of membership-based sites supported by Gladstone to over 900.
