GE’s RESEARCHERS SAY FIRST FLAT PANEL TVs WILL APPEAR IN 1992

Researchers at General Electric’s Schenectady, New York laboratories reckon that the first flat panel TVs, just a few inches thick, will appear around 1992 – and will consist of no more than the flat panel and a couple of chips, according to Associated Press.
