GERSTNER POSITIONS HIMSELF AT THE CENTER OF NEW HQ

By CBR Staff Writer

There’s no hiding place at IBM Corp’s new corporate headquarters at Armonk, New York. It’s a state of the art Z-shaped building designed to reflect the management’s new philosophy. Company chairman Louis Gerstner is right in the central wing of the Z – so any under-performing employee knows that a journey through the building carries the risk of being hauled into Lou’s cubicle for a blasting.
