GenRad Inc will move its Small Test Systems group from Phoenix, Arizona to its headquarters in Concord, Massachusetts to reduce costs estimated at $5m to $6m a year: it has taken a one-time charge of $10m for write-offs of assets, future facility costs, and severance payments for an unspecified number of staff.
