GENICOM TO BUY MOST OF CENTRONIC DATA COMPUTER’S OPERATIONS

Centronic Data Computer Corp holders approved the company’s plan to sell most of its operations to Genicom Corp, Waynesboro, Virginia for $75m and to change its name to Centronics Corp: the Hudson, New Hampshire company will become shell with $100m in the bank, and intends to use it for making acquisitions.
