Over three months, Generali implemented the software to automate and manage its car insurance renewal processes along with a variety of back office processes that support these procedures.

Generali enables clients to obtain quotes, request renewals and sign up for its car insurance services through a web portal and call center. The insurer required a system which could automate and enforce consistency and control over its processes across both channels while integrating with its legacy systems.

Metastorm says its software will also serve as a key piece of Generali’s infrastructure for additional process automation.
